Please be aware that the Totnes Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) will be undergoing significant maintenance/engineering works from Saturday 31st January 2026 until Sunday 15th March 2026 (inclusive).
During the works, the site will be closed to the public from 31/01/2026 to 15/03/2026 (inclusive). Due to the scale of the works, and the small nature of the site, it would not be safe/practical to open to the public during that period. The site will re-open to the public on Monday 16th March 2026.
The works are being undertaken outside of the busy summer period to try and minimise disruption to the public as much as possible. The alternative HWRC facilities at Newton Abbott, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge will remain open as usual.
