Dedicated Space for 11-17 year old entrepreneurs at the Totnes Christmas Nights
Young entrepreneurs aged 11-17 years can sign up now for a table to sell crafts or other goods at Totnes’ Christmas Market and Late Night Shopping evenings in December. Totnes Town Council is organising the FSTV MRKT in the Royal Seven Stars ballroom to give young people in the town a place to sell items they have made or sourced.
This special market is happening in the ballroom at the Royal Seven Stars, which is also hosting a free children’s craft workshop and will have a live band outside to ensure there’s a lively festive buzz. Each pitch is 1.8m x 1.2 m and costs £10 to cover the cost of a table and stewarding the event. Young people are welcome to share a table with a friend to help keep the cost down.
Cllr Emily Price, Mayor of Totnes, said: “We wanted to support our local business savvy young people by giving them the chance to be part of the Christmas Markets in December. If you’re aged 11-17 years old, our FSTV MRKT is your chance to showcase your creativity and make a little extra cash before Christmas. We’re very grateful to the Royal Seven Stars for offering to host this event so table costs are kept to a minimum and profits for our entrepreneurs can be maximised! Space is limited, so get in touch now to book.”
There are a limited number of spaces, so to be in with a chance of bagging some extra cash before Christmas, book a pitch at the FSTV MRKT by contacting Lisa at: email@example.com Young sellers should be accompanied by an adult and no food, drink or toiletries can be sold due to insurance requirements.
The FSTV MRKT is being held as part of the Totnes Christmas Market and Late Night Shopping events on Tuesdays 6, 13 and 20 December. The whole town will be getting into the festive spirit with entertainment, good food and drink, a gnome trail for children, fairy lights, artisan shopping and much more.
