Totnes Neighbourhood Plan Referendum – 16th November 2023

A Referendum relating to the Totnes Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 16 November 2023.

The question to be asked at the Referendum will be:
“Do you want South Hams District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Totnes to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

There will be ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ boxes on the ballot paper. If more people vote ‘yes’ than ‘no’ in the Referendum, then South Hams District Council will use the Totnes Neighbourhood Plan to help it to decide planning applications within Totnes. The Neighbourhood Plan once adopted will then become part of the Development Plan used by the Local Planning Authority (South Hams District Council).
