Council Meetings – Update

In light of the national COVID statistics and concerns from Councillors it has been agreed to temporarily suspend all but the most essential of Council meetings held in person.

The government guidance permitting virtual meetings by Zoom or Microsoft Teams is no longer in place. Totnes Town Council has therefore delegated decision making to the Town Clerk (who will be informed by discussing the matter with members), with urgent and complex business being transacted at an in person Full Council meeting on Monday 5th July 2021 at 6.30pm. If possible this meeting will be held outside for the safety of participants.

Local government meetings usually recess in August so it is hoped to return to usual business and in person meetings from 6th September 2021.

Be assured that projects are still progressing during this time.
